This morning the Kindergarteners had a blast using toothpicks and marshmallows to make 3-Dimensional shapes. After re-reading The Shape of Things, the children were inspired to try and create houses, cubes, and even pyramids with their materials. We are sending them home in ziplock bags today.
We also had an extra choice time, as our PRIDE countdown continues. Children enjoyed making rainbow loom bracelets, creating a tower with straws and connectors and role-playing in the housekeeping area.
Friday Fun involved learning about bees. Ms. Richlen read a non fiction book about bees the class and then children made bees.
