We started our morning talking about the different ways we can interrupt others and the way that interrupting can be distrupting (in fact, we even listened to song with these words!). We role played situations that we have seen in the classroom and brainstormed ways to not interrupt.
During poetry, we learend a song about shapes. The children enjoyed finding the different sight words within the poem, as well as coloring and then graphing the shapes in the picture that they were asked to color.
We ended our day with Math Choice. The Kindergarteners were very excited to use our new bubble dice and to make equations. Some children also chose to work in their work folders on a worksheet focused on domino addition. Many enjoyed building with magna tiles, legos, and straws during this time as well.
