The Kindergarteners enjoyed being at school meeting this morning. We watched a Team PRIDE skit, which reminded us to walk and show respectful behavior in the hallway. After playing Hungry Hungry Hippo at gym class, we enjoyed the beautiful weather outside! The class worked hard during Literacy Centers where we are focusing on beginning sounds of words. During Math today, we made spiders with 8 legs and discussed combinations to create 8 as the spiders have yellow and orange legs. We introduced the language of part, part, whole to describe the amount of spider legs each child made. These will soon be displayed outside our classroom- come and check them out!
