We started our morning with fabulous shares- the children continue to work hard to speak up and explain what they are sharing. Thank you for your support helping your child to find a good share.
During math, we played the game "Top It". Ms. Dennehy and I modeled how to play this game and how to use the language "______ is more than . _____". We then shifted the game to "__________ is less than _________" which proved to be much more challenging. We will continue playing this game next week during math stations.
The Kindergarteners had a blast with the Third Grade buddies this afternoon! Each buddy group received 2 cups- one with sprite and one with water. They were then asked to predict what would happen when they put cranberries in the cup. There was a lot of laughter and discussion happening. Ask your child what he/she observed during these 2 experiments!
