The class was very excited about the impending snow and vacation coming up! However, we still managed to have a full day of learning and fun :-). We shared our peace doves which are beautifully hanging in our classroom. We also continued to practice our plane line letters during Fundations as one student acted as a "teacher" and called out the different letters.
During math, we had math choice where children explored and played with different manipulatives. This was a great opportunity for the Kindergarteners to have a low key chance to play with all the things we have been using thus far this year.
We ended our day with our buddies. Together, each pair created a snowman glyph as they answered different questions about themselves. This was a great way to enter vacation.
