It was so wonderful to start the day with all of the Kindergartener's family and giving you a little ingsight into our day! The Kindergarteners did a great job transitioning to Morning Meeting and shared how great they felt after sharing with all of you! :-)
The class was challenged to "Read The Room" to find all the letters in the alphabet. Working with clipboards and a partner, the children walked around the room and recorded all the words they could read!
During math, we watched a song about measurement. Then, the children estimated how many cubes tall specific objects (such as a water bottle, a tissue box, etc.) would be. Then, they started to measure with unified cubes. We will continue this activity on Monday morning.
For science, we used water droppers and observed what happened when we dropped water on different types of paper. The children then recorded their observations in their science journals.
