Today we wrote a book for Herman based on the information we have learned about him during his Star of The Week week. We brainstormed some sentence starters and some children chose to use these suggestions, while others wrote their own sentences.
During Learning Centers the children were very excited to play in the snow/sensory table and also make choices for other parts of our classroom. We saw some children making different and new choices which was great to see.
In the afternoon, we saw a middle school concert- which included strings, band, and chorus! The Kindergarteners came back to the classroom and identified the different types of instruments. Many are eager to learn to play themselves! . Everyone was also a great audience.
