Wow! We had a fabulous 100's day celebration! Thank you to the parents who were able to join us and help facilitate the many different stations. Thank you, also, to everyone who donated supplies for our celebration. We couldn't have done it without you! The children were engaged with all different activities- they enjoyed making 100's day crowns (with 10 strips with 10 stickers/stamps), walking 100 steps, flipping a coin 100 times, and so much more! Make sure to ask your child what he/she enjoyed today.
We also spent time writing about Jack and we remembered all the information we have learned about him during his Star of The Week week. Ms. Dennehy modeled the best way to draw Jack and to make him look realistic. Jack's dad and brother, Nathan, also joined us this afternoon as Jack's special guests. Thank you for spending part of your day with us.:-)
We ended our day making Valentine's Day "mailboxes"- we painted brown shopping bags and we will continue this Monday morning. If possible, please help your child bring in his/her Valentines' by Tuesday.
