The Kindergarteners have been great sports about not being able to go outside (because of the temperature) for recess. They have enjoyed having some extra choice time and GoNoodle activities!
Today we wrote our special book for Natalie. After Natalie reviewed her poster and answered some questions, Ms. Lewis led the group in a guided drawing lesson for how to draw Natalie. The Kindergartners then drew and wrote what makes Natalie a Star.
We also finished our Math Stations which we started earlier this week. The Kindergarteners are becoming experts on number bonds, story problems and "part, part" whole".
Do you think the groundhog will see its shadow? We ended our day reading Groundhog Day and making a representation of the groundhog and its shadow, along with a poem. Groundhog Day is tomorrow, so we'll have to wait until Monday to see if our predictions were right!
