Today we wrote our special book for Leah, our Star of The Week. After we reviewed Leah's poster, the Kindergarteners watched as Ms. Lewis modeled how to best draw Leah. The Kindergartners then did a great job writing about their friend Leah. We hope you enjoy your special book, Leah!
We completed our math stations from earlier this week. Kindergarteners should now be able to identify the attributes of circles and hexagons.
During Science, we took apart burlap and wool cloth. The Kindergartener had a chance to take apart the burlap threads and the cotton threads. We then talked about how the materials are the same and how they are different. We also read the book What is Fabric Made From? The Kindergarten scientists then wrote their observations in their science journal.
