Happy Friday! Today we formally introduced the last vowel of our alphabet - E- pecking hen. We continued to emphasize the fact that all words have a vowel and encouraged them to think about this fact when they were writing for Charlie's Star of The Week page.
We also had math shuffle today. Some children are working with rekenreks (a math tool) as they create math equations, while others are solving and representing math word problems.
We ended our day with Friday Fun. We made mobiles to represent the phrase "April Showers bring May Flowers". The Kindergarteners had fun making clouds with cotton balls and rain drops. We hope that our mobiles at least bring rain instead of snow! :-)
