The Kindergarteners were excited to write Brennan's Star of The Week book today and worked hard when doing so. They continue to be very focused on the vowels in each of their words and are finding it easier and easier to read back what they have written.
We also continued to work on making recyled paper today. Today, the Kindergarteners transfered the pulp (the newspaper that was soaking in water) and sponged out the water. They then added organic matter and let it dry over the weekend. We will be sending their recyled paper home in the near future (saving it as a special present for a special day....)
