There was a lot of high energy and excitement in our classroom today! We had some serious discussions about what is expected in our classroom and when walking down the hallway. We also had a longer recess than usual, hoping to help the children get out many of their wiggles and excitement!
The class worked very hard today on Anthony's Star of The Week book. As always, Ms. Dennehy modeled how to draw Anthony and then the Kindergarteners wrote at least 2 sentences or one sentence and a question about Anthony. We hope you enjoy your special book, Anthony!
During math we read a non-fiction Discovery book about ladybugs and then made our ladybugs with 10 spots. The Kindergarteners then created an addition equation to represent the dots of each wing. We will be displaying these in our classroom for all to see!
We ended our day by planting with our buddies. We hope that your presents came home in one piece! As you may know, the children have been working on this gift all week- Happy Mother's Day to all! :-)
