We had a fabulous trip to Garden In The Woods today. The children were guided in small groups through the garden and were asked to find things that were living and non-living. The docents guided the children to use their 5 senses as they explored the world around them. The highlight of the walk was the pond! The Kindergarteners were so excited to see frogs and turtles. The sounds of the pond were also exciting, as one child said "I have never heard a frog talk before"! Garden In The Woods is certainly a place I recommend going over the summer with your child and whole family.
