We have had a very busy week here in Room 5. The 2nd Graders have had a blast both inside and outside of the classroom! The playground has transformed into a winter wonderland and the children have enjoyed sliding down the hill, making snow people and forts!
In the classroom, we are now learning about how to tell time to the "5's", differentiaitng between "am" and "pm" and also figuring out how much time has passed. During science, we continued to learn about rocks and sand and we made sand sculptures to help us think warm thoughts.
Here are some questions to ask your 2nd Grader:

* What is the difference between "am" and "pm"?
* Who sits at your new desk cluster?
* . What are your writing about in your newest narrative?
