Today Ms. Pirelli joined us and read Last Day Blues. She then lead us in a discussion about the different ways we might be feeling at this time of the year. Ms. Pirelli assured the children that all feelings are normal and it's okay to even have more than one feeling right now!
We also wrote a "letter" to our First Grade teacher today. We asked each child to write 3 things about themselves. I have made copies of this writing for you and have put it in your child's folder (there are a few children still working so their work will come home tomorrow). I would suggest asking your child to read their paper with you.
