Today we used our morning meeting as a segway to our journal writing today. The children wrote an action word on the morning message and then used these words in their journal. As always, the Kindergarteners were encouraged to write 2 sentences which many of them were able to do successfully!
For math, we created a part-part-whole plate based on carrots and tomatoes. Children were asked to put carrots and tomatoes on a plate, complete a number bond to represent what they did, and then write 4 math equations based on their number bond. We will display these plates for you to see!
We also started learning about Natalie, our Star of The Week, today. Natalie did a great job sharing her poster and the children added all the new information that was shared to their mind files about Natalie. Tomorrow, we look forward to guessing your clues, Natalie!:-)
