It was so great being back together today! The Kindergarteners were very excited to share about their week and did a great job writing in their journals about their adventures, close and far from home. We also introduced two new sight words today- go and am and listened to words to identify those that had the same beginning sounds.
During math today, we started new math stations, focusing on number bonds and number recognition. Also, at the lesson station, the Kindergarteners started to create their own number stories based on a given addition equation.
We also started learning about Greyson, our Star of the Week today, and added information about Greyson to our mind files. We ended our day at the Computer Lab, working on Lexia.
