Today we started learning about Leah, our Star of The Week. Leah did a great job sharing her poster, as the Kindergarteners added information to their mind file about Leah. Tomorrow we look forward to guessing your clues, Leah!
The Kindergarteners did another dictation today during Fundations. This was a great way to review trick words and the semantics (capital letter, period at the end) of sentence writing. They also had a a lot of fun with this activity!
This afternoon, we sang "Who Stole the Cookies from the Cookie Jar?" and then did a math related activity. The children chose the type of cookie they wanted to use, put them in the "jar" and then created a subtraction sentence to go with their picture.
