We were very excited to start learning about Gracie, our Star of The Week. Gracie did a great job sharing her poster, as we added information about Gracie to our mind file.
During journal writing, we reviewed what makes a 5 Star Writer. The Kindergartners did a great job remembering what is expected doing writing and did beautiful work. They feel quite proud that they can now read back their writing and that their illustrations match their words.
During math, we played "Make 10". In this card game, children have to look at an array of 6 cards to think about what combinations make 10. This was tricky for some, but children preserved and had fun playing . We will play this game during math stations this week.
