Happy Monday! We started our morning be reinforcing the trick word "she" by copying, cutting, and glueing. We have noticed that the Kindergarteners are recognizing so many of the trick words from this word and spelling them correctly in their writing. We also reviewed the word "with" today which is often written as "wif". We practiced saying it correctly and then writing it the correct way.
We started learning about Anthony, our Star of The Week today! Anthony shared his poster and we added a lot of additional information to our mind file out Anthony. We look forward to guessing your clues tomorrow, Anthony!
We started new math stations today. Thank you to Chloe's mom for joining us and helping at the ten frame memory game. Children worked with me on grab bag addition, while others played "Build a Floor" with Ms. Dennehy. Our goal is for all children to have fluency within 5 and to know the missing addends when adding and counting to 10.
