We had a great time meeting our Upham School pen pals this morning. The children all met up and then we had snack on their playground. After eating together, the Kindergartners played together on the playground. In your child's folder today, their pen pal has shared his/her address. I highly recommend encouraging your child to write to his/her pen pal and to continue this relationship. I also want to thank the Upham School KBE Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Bethany Bergeron (also a Loker parent) for helping to make this all happen!
When we returned to school, we did some review work in Fundations and then the children wrote in their journals for the last time as Kindergarteners. We look forward to sharing their work with you on Wednesday. During math, the children explored and played with many of the manipulatives and games we have introducet his year.
Ms. Dennehy is our Star of The Week this week. She shared her poster this morning and we were all able to add to our mind files about Ms. Dennehy. Tomorrow, we look forward to figuring out her clues!
