We. had such fun with our Wellesley pen pals this morning. The Kindergarteners greeted their pen pals, showed them around our playground, played together and then ate snack together. It was so wonderful to see the warm and engaging way the children all interacted- it was a wonderful experience!
The Kindergartners then showed that they are Five Star writers during our journal writing time.They wrote about their weekends and used all the appropriate conventions of writing which we are expecting at this time of the year.
We started learning about Ky, our Star of The Week ! He shared his fabulous poster and we added information about Ky to our mind file. We look forward to guessing Ky's clues tomorrow. :-)
