After a wonderful school meeting, the Kindergarteners had PE today where they played different types of tag games. After returning to the classroom we re-read the book The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything and sequenced the book as a class. The children then sequenced the book independently- this work is in their folders today and also serves as a great reading activity at home.
During math, we made ten frame pumpkins- the children were asked to complete a ten frame for the numbers 1-10, cut strips, and then bend the strips to form a pumpkin. This task was challenging, but the Kindergarteners felt very proud of their work.
