We started our morning with sharing for the first time! Those who chose to share did a great job explaining their share and speaking in a "speak up" voice. Those listening did a great job either asking a question or giving a compliment.  This will continue weekly on Thursday and Friday.

We learned a new poem today about spiders where the Kindergartners were asked to find the sight words we have learned thus far. They also did a picture search on the back, looking for Halloween monsters and then counting how many they saw.

During math, we had math choice this afternoon. Some chose to make a monster using a variety of shapes, while others worked on a tweezer count, matching beads to the number at the bottom of the egg carton.  Kindergarteners also played Top-It and used Legos and Keva Planks during this time.
