This morning the class finished their 10-frame monsters which we started yesterday. We look forward to displaying these for all to see :-)
We completed our Literacy Stations for the week. Children are now very familiar with the strategy of Eagle Eye (looking at the picture to figure out a word). Next week, we will introduce "Lips The Fish"- looking at the first letter of a word (along with the picture) to figure out an unknown word.
We were treated to an Improv Boston performance today, brought to us by the WPSF, about kindness and anti-bullying. Many of the children participated in the skits and understood the take away message of being kind.
Our day ended outside as we observed our class tree which has changed quite a bit from when we observed it last. As scientists, we created ABCD diagrams of our tree and worked in our science journals.
