We started our morning with Ryan's grandmother, Gaga, joining us as his guest reader. We enjoyed the book she read Zin Zin Zin , A Violin and the children learned and recongized the names of many of the instruments in the book. Thank you for joining us this morning!
During poetry we leanrd the poem "Hats and Mittens' and the Kindergarteners completed a dot to dot on the back of the page. It was then the perfect day to sit around the "fireplace" and sing some of our favorite songs.
During math today, the Kindergarteners had such a great time measuring a partner with non-standard measurements. Using non-standard measurments, such as teddy bears, links, and cubes, each child had a chance to measure and record their findings. We continued to emphasize end to end measurement and accurately recording our observations.
