We started our day today by finishing the math projects we started yesterday afternoon. We were amazed by the stamina the Kindergarteners showed to complete this project- the penguins and math equations are hanging outside our classroom- feel free to check them out!
Ms. Pirelli joined our class today and reinforced the concept of matching the size of the problem to the size of the reaction. She and I had fun role-playing scenarios to show what happens when the size of a reaction doesn't match the size of the problem. Ask your child what he/she remembers about our role plays!
During math today, we introduced the poems for writing the numbers 8 and 9. The rhymes are in the pictures below. We were then treated to Daniel's mom who was our Mystery Reader- it was a fabulous way to end our day!
