This morning we had an action-filled school meeting.  Mr. Jones read The Other Side and we discussed the importance of treating everyone equally, no matter what color their skin might be. We also celebrated birthdays and sang the Loker School Song.

We learned our new February poem this morning and traced the numbers for all the numbers in February. We then sat around our "fireplace" and sang this new poem, along with our other favorites.

Ms. Pirelli joined us today and read Strictly No Elephants, continuing our theme about including everyone.  We talked about the terms "including" and "excluding" and the importance of making sure that everyone is included.

We continued our science work this afternoon. We continued building ramps as wells as made more collisions between balls and pieces of wood. In our discussion at the end of our science time, we continued to use the words force, motion gravity, and speed to share our observations.
