The Kindergarteners were so excited to finish their lion/lamb mobiles which they started yesterday. These mobiles which remind us that "March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb" are now hanging in our classroom!
We put a new poem in our poetry folders today, entitled March. The Kindergarteners enjoyed sitting around our "fireplace" and signing this song and other poems together. See if your child remembers the tune to today's poem (it was to "Bingo!")..
Ms. Pirelli joined our class to and read the book Alexander and The Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day. She then led us through a video/exercise about meditation reminding us to breathe and used the website cosmickids.com to guide us.
We finished our day with Math Choice. Children could choose a guided discovery for Legos, roll dice on the 100's mat and review missing addends in their independent folders. We look forward to having math choice again next week! :-)
