The Kindergarteners enjoyed the 4th Grade performance of "Fifty Nifty United States" and the presentation of the 50 states during School Meeting. Ask your child if he/she remembers one of the states that was presented!
The children also learned a new poem for April, learning how to spell the word April as we do for each month. On the back of the poem, the Kindergarteners also practiced writing their numbers as they filled in the calendar.

Nurse McCleod also visited our classroom today and talked bout healthy eating. The Kindergarteners then cut and pasted foods onto their Nutritional Healthy Plate, separating fruits, grains, vegetables, proteins and dairy. This is part of our science curriculum as we talk about our environment- taking care of the earth around us and our own bodies.
