The class was very excited to add the song "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" to their poetry notebooks today. The chidren were encouraged to change the words "home team" to Red Sox or any baseball team that they like. This was also an opportunity for the class to review the sight words that they know.
During math, the class worked on a picture of birds on a gate and some birds flying away. They were then asked to create subtraction equations to match their pictures. We will continue practicing subtraction equations as these continue to be tricky for many.
