First of all, thank you for sending in water bottles for your children today. It helped tremendously to keep them all cool and able to get water when needed!

Ms. Pirelli joined us today and introduced a song called "Stop, Think, Go". This strategy, as we have talked about most of the year, is very effective when making choices and decisions.  She explained that by taking the time to think and brainstorm the possibilites, we can make good choices which helps others have comfortable thoughts about us.

During poetry we leraned a new song about syllalbes. The KIndergarteners also had the chance to sort words by one, two, or three syllables. Then, because it was too hot to sit by the "fire", the children sat by the "beach" and read and sang songs from the poetry folders.

We also worked in the garden today! With the help of Ms. Johnson and Ms. Morris, a Loker parent, we planted vegetables in an array of rainbow colors. Ask your child what he/she planted... :-)

We ended our day with Cameran's mother and brother joining us as our Star Readers.  Thank you for spending part of your afternoon with us.
