It was a busy day today! We started our morning with a fabulous performance by the Tardy Brothers, brought to us by the Cultural Enrichment Committee. A combination of juggling and various stunts was shown to us, as well as the message of following your dreams and working hard and practicing can help you accomplish your goals!
We also helped to plant a Kindergarten Rainbow garden with Ms. Johnson and parent volunteer, Mrs. Morris. The Kindergarteners each had a chance to plant a colorful vegetable or fruit for our Loker garden.
Shree had 3 special visitors for her Star Readers this morning as well. Sissi, a family friend, read The Kissing Hand and told us a special story about her own family and how they had their own way of feeling loved and remembered during the day.
For math, we spent our time in the computer lab working on Symphony Math. As always, we reviewed a frew key concepts about equations and explained our thinking to solve some specific problems that were presented.
