Today the Kindergarteners learned a new sight word - "said"- during poetry. They then enjoyed sitting and listening to the sounds of the waves as we sang our new poem and some old favorites.
During Open Circle today we started to talk about our feelings and thoughts as the year slowly comes to an end. I shared that there are many thoughts and feelings we might be having around this time, but that our class rules and expecation still apply. This was a good opportunity to review of our class rules and to give example of expected behaviors.
This afternoon we worked on our school presentation art project. To keep it a little bit of a surprise, I'll only tell you that it's based on the books by Todd Parr.
