We had a fabulous first day of school! The children were very successful listening to directions and did a great job unpacking their folder, lunch box, snack, and water bottles as they came into the classroom. We read First Day Jitters and shared about our summers, playing the game "Me, Too!" as we shared.
This afternoon we had library where Ms. Powell, our librarian, explained and shared about how the library works. We ended our day with choice time where the children were able to explore parts of our classroom, such as the blocks area and housekeeping.
