We started our morning with Natalie's mom joining us as our Mystery Reader. Thank you for spending part of your morning with us!
During Fundations, we added the letters "s" and "d" to our magnet boards and reviewed the sounds of all the letters. We also used puzzle pieces to review the letters and the sounds and had the children match up by letter and keyword sound. This was an activity that was also available at Choice Time.
We had fun acting out The Grouchy Ladybug with puppets. This activity helps to build fluency and oral language skills. There was lots of laughter and excitement This was also offered as a choice during Choice Time.
We started new math stations today. With me, the children used unifix cubes to represent the letters in their name. With Ms. Richlen, the Kindergarteners completed a counting jar activity. Others played "Number Squeeze" with Ms. Lewis and another group sorted and identified attributes of buttons with Ms. Meindel. We will continue these stations on Friday.
