The Kindergarteners did such a great job responding to the book Just So Thankful that we read yesterday. When asked what they were thankful for, the children wrote and drew about their families, the USA, birds, pets, and shared that they are thankful for their "life". We will have their written responses hung up in our classroom -feel free to check them out when you have a chance!
We also turned over the letter B today - Bouncing Ball. We then brainstormed words that started with B. We also reviewed the other letters we have learned thus far and sorted words by their beginning sound.
During math today, we continued with our math stations. Children are slowly becoming experts on comparing inventory bags and doing a "matchy match" to figure out how many more and how many less! Ask your child to compare 2 amounts (up to 10) and see if they can show you our matchy match strategy.
We ended our day with Learning Centers. Children continued to work on their Thanksgiving turkeys and Thanksgiving cards. Others chose to play the dot game, while others built with legos.
