This morning we continued thinking about longer and shorter as the Kindergarteners completed a math activity from yesterday. To help reinforce this concept, feel free to ask your child point out things are longer or shorter than objects in your house or even outside!
We learned 2 new letters today- v-van-v and w-wind-w. We brainstormed words that begin with each letter, and then learned how to correctly write each letter.
We started new math stations today. Children worked with me to compare different quantities in an inventory bag, while others ordered cards from least to greatest. Others worked on Symphony Math, and some played "Top It" with dot cards.
We ended our day with Olivia's mom being our Mystery Reader. Thank you for spending part of your afternoon with us! :-)
