During Morning Meeting, we practiced thinking about what comes next ....My morning message asked children to write down the next number (including "decades", such as 39-40, 49-50) and then we sang to a song called "what comes next on the number line, when you see a number that ends with 9?". When doing my most recent assessment, this is a skill on which we are still working.
We guessed Maya's 3 mystery items today that start with the letter "M"- a marshmallow, a monkey, and a magazine. Magazine was the trickiest one for children to guess!
During math we continued our math stations from yesterday. Thank you to Claire's mom for joining us during this time. We continued to work on creating math addition equations and thinking about "part, part, whole".
