The Kindergarteners were so excited to receive letters from their Wellesley pen pals today! It took a lot of work to read them and then to figure out what to write back, and the children were very patient with this process. Tomorrow morning they will create the envelopes for their pen pals and then we will mail them! :-)
We also guessed Leah's clues today for her Star of The Week. Leah brought in a lemon, lego, and leaf. Thank you for the great clues, Leah!
We also started new math stations this afternoon. We are continuing to work on shape recognition, shape attributes and understanding that a shape is a closed figure. Other children were also playing "My Number is Higher" and others work exploring with the explorations we introduced last week.
We ended our day with Elsie's mom joining us as our Mystery Reader. Thank you for spending part of your day with us .:-)
