What a busy day! We had fun guessing Kate's clues for her Star of The Week Mystery Bag. Kate brought in keys, a koala, and a kiwi. Thank you, Kate, for your creativity!!
We also continued to work on our stories for Writer's Workshop. Children can choose if they want to bring home their stories or leave them in school. If your child brings his/her book home, it would be great if they could bring it back to school (after sharing with you) for our classroom collection. The books will all be returned at the end of the school year. Thank you for your support!
We started new math stations today, too Some children searched the room for shapes which we have learned, while others determined the difference between a square and a triangle, reviewing the attributes of each of these shapes. The Kindergarteners had a lot of fun playing the "cup game" where they had to put cups in the correct numerical order, moving one cup at a time! :-)
We ended our day with choice time. Thank you for all the contributions to recycle art. The children are having a blast with their new creations!
