PiThe Kindergarteners were really excited to guess Liam's clues today! Liam brought in a lizard, letter, and a lock for his Mystery Bag.
During Writer's Workshop, I introduced the Kindergartners to a checklist. This checklist will be used to help the Kindergarteners edit their work and to understand what is expected for a book to be ready for a cover. As children finish writing their stories, they can now choose to either write a letter or to write another story. I am doing my best to check in with each child before they "seal the envelope" for a letter. I apologize in advance if your child gives you a letter that was not checked by a teacher..
We started new math stations today. Some children worked with Ms. Richlen and used Beebots to review the names and attributes of 2-D shapes. Others worked with me to learn about 3-D solids. During the same time, children continued to play TENZI and the other math stations explored 3-D shapes.
We ended the day with Dr. Unobsky joining us as our Mystery Reader. Thank you for spending part of your day with us, Dr. Unobsky!
