The class was very excited to have the option to write lists during Writer's Workshop today. We brainstormed the different types of lists and some children chose to write a list, while others continued with their stories. When a story is completed and "published", the Kindergarten authors share the books with the class. We will then send them home for you to celebrate and enjoy with your child!
We continued our math stations this afternoon, contiinuing to focus on number equations. I am also reminding children of the proper way to form their numbers- reversals are common (until 2nd grade!) but at this point of the year, I am asking children to re-write and form their numbers the right way to get them into a good habit for number writing.
The children had fun guessing Brennan's clues and it was a good chance to review the sound of "B". Thanks, Brennan, for bringing in a Bunny, Blanket, and Binoculoars!
* I have included pictures from yesterday on today's blog. Enjoy!
