This morning we guessed Alanni's Star of The Week clues. Alanni brought in an apple, Abby (a character from Sesame Street) and Ariel in her mystery bag. Thank you for the great clues, Alanni!
We also continued working in our Writer's Workshop folders. Some children are writing letters, while others are working on stories or creating "how-to" explanations. All are feeling quite proud of what they are now able to do as 5 Star Writers!
During math, we started new math stations. Children played "LCR", a game that reinforces "left" and "right" while others played "Cross Out Addition" which focus on adding 2 numbers together. Children working with me worked on word problems and how to accurately write an equation.
