We can't beleive that it is almost the end of May! We have seen so much growth in the Kindergarteners and no where is it more apparent than during Writer's Workshop. It is simply amazing to see the children writing so independently and proudly and also being able to read back their work! They should feel very proud of all that they have accomplished.
The children also drew their last self-portrait of the year today. We look forward too sharing all their self-portraits with you at our Open House in a few weeks.
We also started new math stations today, focusing on addition and subtraction problems. We used a sum balance at the Lesson Station, while others used a "walk-on" number grid with Ms. Dennehy to review all the numbers up to 100.
