Today during Open Circle we talked about things we might not know just by looking at each other. We played a "stand up , sit down" game based on questions such as "do you like pizza?" or "I speak a different language at home.". I encouraged the children to continue these conversations at snack or at recess to find out more about each other!
After teading Oh The Places You'll Go, we worked on the page in our "All About Me" books about what we might look like when we grow up. Some children simply drew themselves as a grown up, while others draw themselves in a specific job. Ask your child about what he/she drew!
We started new math stations today. Children continued to work on their counting jar book with me, while others thought about a "five frame" and creating specific numbers with Ms. Richlen. Others continued to work on their counting books.
