The Kindergarteners came in excited to share about their Halloween tales, so that's just what we did during morning meeting!  After sharing, we had library this morning and then enjoyed the beautiful fall day.

We started new Literacy Centers this morning where children are sorting words and pictures based on their beginning and ending sounds and also reviewing and sorting words that rhyme. With Ms. Dennehy, children are working on how to draw a person in action, while they are working on their All About Me books with me.  We also turned over the letter P in our alphabet - Popping Popcorn.

This afternoon, we continued the math stations that we started yesterday.  The children enjoyed comparing the length of their name with others in their group, while others continued to work on counting a scattered array. Tomorrow, we will make a class graph about our favorite lunch foods.

We ended our day with Learning Centers. Children enjoyed sponge painting, as well as playing Candyland. Others used our new orange playdough and  some continue to enjoy building with legos, while others chose to read quietly during this time.
