The Kindergarteners enjoyed having Max's grandmother, Mimi, join us as our Mystery Reader this morning. Thank you for spending some of your time with us as you visit from Australia!
We drew our self portraits for the month of October. Using a step-by-step guide, I modeled how to best draw ourselves. Once again, we referred to the expectation of ABCD modeling and the Kindergarteners really did an outstanding job!
We continued to talk about the vowels in our alphabet and even sang a song to the tune of "BINGO" about the vowels. We reinforced the sounds of "i" and "u" and added these letters to our magnet boards. We then practiced writing these letters on our white boards.
During math we played "Ten Frame Memory" where children were asked to match up cards that represented the same number. We will plan to play this game again next week!
