This morning, during Open Circle, we reviewed our past discussions about ways to solve a problem. We reviewed using the lights on the traffic light to remind us to stop, brainstorm, and then go. We also reviewed the concept of being a positive leader and how this can help avoid many problems!
We reviewed Serena's Star of The Week poster and made her a special book about why she is a Star. The Kindergarteners watched how I modeled how to accurately draw Serena and then went and did amazing work on their own pages for Serena. We hope you enjoy your special book, Serena!
During math we completed our "Measure a Friend" activity. Using different non-standard measurements, the Kindergarteners measured each other end to end!
